Storage and expiration
Lyophilized powders +
- Temperature: −20 °C for long-term storage (>1 month) or +4 °C for up to 4 weeks.
- Light: keep in the dark or in opaque containers.
- Moisture: tightly sealed vials with a desiccant.
- Thawing: warm to room temperature before opening — this prevents condensation.
Reconstituted solutions +
- +4 °C: up to 2–4 weeks depending on the compound.
- −20 °C: up to 3–6 months (split into aliquots).
- Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
Expiration +
Indicated on the vial and in the COA. After expiration — retest or replace.
Signs of degradation +
- Color change, cloudiness, or sediment in the solution
- Appearance of an unusual odor
