Storage and expiration

Lyophilized powders +
  • Temperature: −20 °C for long-term storage (>1 month) or +4 °C for up to 4 weeks.
  • Light: keep in the dark or in opaque containers.
  • Moisture: tightly sealed vials with a desiccant.
  • Thawing: warm to room temperature before opening — this prevents condensation.
Reconstituted solutions +
  • +4 °C: up to 2–4 weeks depending on the compound.
  • −20 °C: up to 3–6 months (split into aliquots).
  • Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
Expiration +

Indicated on the vial and in the COA. After expiration — retest or replace.

Signs of degradation +
  • Color change, cloudiness, or sediment in the solution
  • Appearance of an unusual odor
