Public offer & terms of service
This document is an official public offer within the meaning of Articles 633, 641 and 642 of the Civil Code of Ukraine and sets out the terms on which the owner of the Longeva online store (the “Seller”) sells research-use products. By placing an order or using the Site, you (the “Buyer”) fully and unconditionally accept all the terms set out below (acceptance of the offer).
In effect since 24 June 2026.
1. Definitions
Site — the online store located at longeva.bio, together with all of its pages and services.
Seller (Administration) — the party that owns the Site and sells the Goods.
Buyer (User) — a legally capable individual aged 18 or over, or a legal entity, placing an Order.
Goods — reagents, substances and related products for research use only (RUO), not intended for consumption by humans or animals.
Order — a duly placed request by the Buyer to purchase the Goods.
2. General provisions
The contract is deemed concluded the moment the Buyer places an Order (accepts the offer) and remains in force until both parties have fully performed their obligations. It requires no signature and is legally binding under the laws of Ukraine.
The Seller reserves the right to amend these terms unilaterally. Amendments take effect once published on the Site. The version in force is the one shown on this page at the time the Order is placed.
3. Subject of the contract & intended use of the Goods
The Seller undertakes to transfer ownership of the Goods to the Buyer, and the Buyer undertakes to accept and pay for them under this offer.
All products are sold strictly for scientific research and laboratory use (in vitro). The Goods are not medicinal products, food, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices, have not undergone the corresponding registration, and are not intended for consumption, administration or any other use in or on humans or animals, nor for the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease.
By placing an Order, the Buyer confirms that they are at least 18 years old, have the qualifications required to handle reagents, and understand the research-only nature of the Goods.
4. Registration & account
Registration is not required to place an Order — guest checkout is available. A registered Buyer gains access to order history, statuses and personal offers.
The Buyer undertakes to provide accurate information and is solely responsible for keeping their account credentials confidential and for all actions taken under the account.
5. Placing an order
The Buyer places an Order independently via the Site or other available channels. Placing an Order constitutes acceptance of the offer and agreement to all of its terms.
The Seller may decline to accept or fulfil an Order (e.g. if the Goods are unavailable, the contact details are invalid, or there are signs of abuse), notifying the Buyer and refunding any payment already made.
6. Price & payment
Prices are shown on the Site in Ukrainian hryvnia. The Seller may change prices; however, the price of an Order already placed and paid for will not change. The final amount is fixed at the moment the Order is placed.
Payment is made by the methods listed on the Site (cryptocurrency, bank card, cash on delivery, etc.). The payment obligation is deemed fulfilled once the funds are received.
7. Delivery
Delivery is carried out by Nova Poshta (branch, parcel locker or address delivery). Delivery times are approximate and depend on the carrier. The delivery cost is set by the carrier’s tariffs and paid by the Buyer unless expressly stated otherwise.
The risk of accidental damage or loss of the Goods passes to the Buyer when the Goods are handed over to the carrier. The Buyer undertakes to check the integrity of the shipment on receipt.
8. Returns & exchange
The Buyer’s rights to return or exchange Goods of proper quality are governed by the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Consumer Rights”. Given the nature of the products, reagents and other items that have been opened (seal/packaging broken) or that by their nature cannot be returned without losing their consumer qualities are not subject to return or exchange as Goods of proper quality.
If Goods are found to be of improper quality, the Buyer is entitled to request their replacement or a refund within the time limits and in the manner established by law. To do so, contact the Seller quoting the Order number.
9. Rights & obligations of the parties
The Seller undertakes to: deliver Goods that match the description, properly packaged; process personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
The Buyer undertakes to: provide accurate information; pay for and accept the Order on time; use the Goods solely for their research purpose and in accordance with safety requirements and the law; not use the Goods in any manner prohibited by law.
10. Liability & its limitation
Information on the Site (descriptions, blog articles, calculator, etc.) is for reference only, is not medical advice, and does not replace consultation with a qualified specialist.
The Seller is not liable for any harm to life, health or property arising from the incorrect, off-label or unlawful use of the Goods by the Buyer or third parties. All responsibility for the use, storage and disposal of the Goods rests with the Buyer.
To the extent permitted by law, the Seller’s aggregate liability under this contract is limited to the value of the relevant Order.
11. Intellectual property
All materials on the Site (text, images, logos, design, structure) are intellectual property protected by law. Any use of the materials without the Seller’s written permission is prohibited.
12. Personal data
By placing an Order or registering, the Buyer consents to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and the Privacy Policy. The data is used solely to fulfil the Order and to contact the Buyer.
13. Force majeure
The parties are released from liability for the full or partial failure to perform their obligations where this is the result of force majeure that arose after the contract was concluded and is beyond the parties’ control.
14. Disputes & governing law
The parties’ relations are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes are resolved through negotiation and, failing agreement, in court under the applicable jurisdiction.
15. Final provisions
If any provision of this offer is found invalid, it does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. For matters relating to the performance of the contract, the Buyer may contact the Seller at hello@longeva.bio.
