Pinealon
Pinealon
About
Pinealon belongs to the short-peptide bioregulator family — the same group as epithalon or cytomax — and research use centers on cognitive function, neuroprotection, and age-related changes in the central nervous system. It is one of the better-characterised reagents among the short bioregulatory peptides, which is why it appears regularly in protocols focused on brain ageing and neuronal regulation.
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in a glass vial carrying an RUO label. Every batch is checked by HPLC; typical purity is >98–99 %, making the reagent suitable for reproducible research work.
The full scientific detail — structure, mechanism of action and references to the literature — lives in a dedicated wiki monograph linked from this page. Here we list only the practical characteristics of the reagent.
Keep the vial closed, in a dry place, protected from light and heat; a freezer is recommended for long-term storage.
