In brief: Liraglutide (INN: liraglutide) on the Longeva hub is a research GLP-1 sample supplied as a lyophilized powder with research use only (RUO) status. It is not Saxenda, not Victoza and not a finished prescription medicine.
Searches for "saxenda" and "liraglutide" often mix the trade name with the INN. Longeva supplies the molecule for laboratory protocols; batch quality is documented by a COA per LOT. The difference between brand and molecule is covered in the hub editorial Saxenda ↔ liraglutide.
Saxenda and Victoza are trademarks of finished injectable medicines containing liraglutide. They are registered as medicinal products with medical labelling, a different product class than an RUO lyophilizate. Longeva does not sell these brands.
Liraglutide is described as a synthetic GLP-1 analogue. Clinical programmes studied it in controlled protocols, among them SCALE for body weight control. This is mechanistic context for the class, not a promise of an effect from an RUO vial.
