LL-37
LL-37
About
LL-37 is the only known human cathelicidin — a natural peptide of the innate immune system and a well-studied host-defense (antimicrobial) molecule. It is a widely used subject in laboratory research on peptide–membrane interactions and on the modulation of inflammatory and repair processes.
Supplied as a lyophilized powder ready for reconstitution under laboratory conditions. Every lot undergoes quality control by HPLC, with typical purity of ≥98–99%, supporting reproducible in vitro work.
The full scientific detail — structure, mechanism of action, sequence, and reference data — lives in the linked wiki monograph, accessible from this product page.
Store the lyophilate dry and cold, and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles once reconstituted.

Q&A
What is the half-life of LL-37?
No half-life for LL-37 has been published in any species. LL-37 is endogenous: it circulates bound (as hCAP-18) and is continuously replenished by neutrophils, so the half-life of an exogenous form is not separately definable. See the Dosing section for detail.
DosingDosing
A local regimen for venous ulcers has been studied in people; this is not a systemic injection schedule.
