BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid pentadecapeptide matching part of the sequence of a human gastric-juice protein, and one of the most widely cited peptides in tissue-repair research. Preclinical models study it for tendon, ligament and muscle healing, gastrointestinal mucosal cytoprotection, and angiogenesis via the VEGFR2 pathway.
