About

Glutathione (GSH) is a reduced thiol tripeptide and one of the principal intracellular antioxidants. Its free thiol (–SH) group makes it a common reference reagent in redox biology, oxidative-stress studies, and cell-culture work.

What is the half-life of Glutathione?

The half-life of glutathione depends on the route. Intravenously it is approximately 10–14 minutes (two independent human studies). Orally there is no definable half-life — a single dose does not meaningfully raise plasma glutathione — so no single figure describes "glutathione" as such. See the Dosing section for detail.
